About this Event
Power Up Pilates is back, and this time we're in the garden at 931 Bedford Ave.
Join The Fit In and New York Restoration Project for five Wednesday evenings of free mat Pilates at Target Community Garden in Bedford-Stuyvesant. It's an hour of strengthening and stretching your core and stabilizer muscles, outdoors, with your neighbors, right as the workday winds down.
This class is built for everyone. If you've never done Pilates, this is the place to start — it's low-impact and every move can be scaled. If you're an athlete, you'll leave feeling it. You set the intensity; we'll coach you through it.
When: Wednesdays, September 23 through October 21, 5:30–6:30 PM
Where: Target Community Garden, 931 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11205
Cost: Free. Register to reserve your spot.
What to bring: yourself and a water bottle. Mats are provided. Wear something you can move in, and grip socks or bare feet work best.
Reserve one ticket per session you plan to attend. Weather cancellations will be messaged through Eventbrite.
The Fit In is a Bed-Stuy studio created to bring quality, accessible fitness training to Central Brooklyn. NYRP restores and cares for gardens and parks across the five boroughs so every New Yorker has green space within reach. Together we're turning this garden into the neighborhood's living room.
