This isn't just a party; it's a celebration of life without the need for external stimulants! Dance Medicine Philly's New Year's Eve event is a SOBER space—no drugs, no alcohol. It's an invitation to create your own magic, to revel in the joy of the present moment, and to welcome the new year with a clear mind and open heart.

Through movement, connection, and intention, we engage in a timeless ritual, a dance that transcends the linear constraints of hours and minutes, allowing us to commune with the eternal rhythm of nature.

⏰ Flow of the evening:

🤸‍♂️ We begin the night with a guided yoga/dance warmup led by Lior, to set intentions for the dawn of the new year. Picture a communal breath, a collective exhale, a moving prayer releasing what no longer serves and making space for the infinite possibilities that lie ahead.

💃 Flow deeper into the night with not one, but TWO live DJ sets- Electrocute and Earth Ephect! Our TWO live DJs are your guides on a rhythmic journey that transcends time…Picture the dance floor as a gateway into a journey from the serene and steady sounds, building towards ecstatic and primal heights, only to gently cradle you back into a slow and soft embrace. These aren't just Dj sets, they are opportunities to set your 2025 into metamorphic motion!

🎶 We will wrap up the night with a Sound Healing journey, where an entourage of sound healers awaits. Let the vibrations guide you beyond the borders of your skin, into a space of tranquility, cleansing away the old and making room for the new.

🧉During the festivities Sip on Creatively crafted elixirs and savor delectable bites that elevate your experience by Jayakava- bringing a taste of magic to every moment. 🎨Marvel at live art unfolding before your eyes or get wild with our face painting station. Lior Allay, Lior (They/She) is a somatic sorcerer on a quest to manifest an empathy utopia through community, connection, and creative catharsis. They believe sensitivity and sensuality (re)connects us to source. Lior will invite you to tap into your wildness and use these natural gifts to drop into deep connection and develop multidimensional awareness.

Lior’s guided experiences are designed to welcome beings from all walks of life to experience the healing of radical acceptance, expression, and celebration that forms the foundation of queer culture - If you’re ready to unshackle from shame and birth the new paradigm led by the intuitive then this is for YOU!

Their accessible curriculum of embodied learning through play metabolizes the many paradoxes of existence to support living your most authentic, vibrant life. Through these embodied transmissions Lior seeks to remove blockages that sever us from the rooted web of heart connection that is our birthright.

Earth Ephect Earth Ephect is the electronic music project created by multi-instrumentalist and producer Paul Patterson. Paul has been creating music since he first learned to play guitar as a young man. Never satisfied with just one sound, he discovered looping and began experimenting with layering synthesizers and drum machines with his guitar. After embarking on a series of mind opening journeys with plant medicine, lucid dreaming and meditation, connections with his higher consciousness were made and his path was clearly set before him.

Paul has experienced several extraterrestrial contact events which have allowed him to have a more immersive experience in his creative channeling process. After putting together a home studio with various instruments and pieces of equipment, he hasbeen able to get into his flow state with creating music with authenticity and excitement.

His work spans a mixture of genres like ambient, downtempo, psybient and trance. Flowing grounding bass along with cinematic soundscapes and moody multi-instrumental melody lines are the signature sounds of Earth Ephect. Throat singing and bansuri flute are more recent additions, and dreamy vocals often recorded by his wife (Kathryn Ashgrove) add an imperative divine feminine balance to the overall sound design. Earth Ephect's intention is to raise our collective vibration into the higher realms of consciousness through the impact of music.

ELECTRO⚡️CUTE (she/they) started DJing and dabbling in production at the young age of 19 and has spent the past 13 years training as an attorney and slowly rising through the music ranks, starting in the underground rave scene in NYC and expanding to the ecstatic dance community and well-known US clubs including Flash and Twelve After Twelve in DC and Le Poisson Rouge and the DL in NYC.

ELECTRO⚡️CUTE is a conscious event-focused DJ and Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki 1-2 practioner, known for sampling global music mixed with organic, driving, and funky electronic beats as an homage to her multicultural background which includes Persian, German, Afghani, Mediterranean, Indian, and Egyptian. You can expect to hear many of these cultural influences throughout her sets as she takes you on an ethereal musical journey all over the globe through many eras and genres with unexpected twists and turns along the way that will have you both twirling and twerking on the dance floor.

ELECTRO⚡️CUTE believes music is a healing and uniting force for the collective good and intends to spark playful joy on the dance floor as a direct rebellion against the heaviness of the world and intentionally weaves in reiki energy and loving energy into all of her musical journeys.

ELECTRO⚡️CUTE is the resident DJ and founder of Ecstatic Dance Arlington and hosts conscious dance and meditation events in the DC area with her project lovingly titled Soul Fire Experiences, as a nod to their passion for the conscious community with the intention to ignite and uplift the community’s creative passions. She recently co-founded Soul Flow, a conscious nightlife experience incorporating wellness and raising awareness and donations for social justice causes, blending her passions: social justice, music, community healing, and nightlife.

Richie Parrella is a Somatic Therapist, Certified yoga teacher, Reiki Master and sound healer trained in Prana yoga, based in the lineages of Kundalini and Tantra yoga and Ayurveda in the lineage of Dr. Vasant Lad. He facilitates sessions, classes, and groups with the intention to create a safe space for others to explore their inner experience, create transformation, as well as reduce stress, anxiety, and support the allowing of the body, mind, and spirit’s natural ability to heal. His teachings are rich in yogic philosophy, breath work and mindfulness

Jayme Rose & Ben Drawn to the deep interconnectedness that is felt when playing any instrument [especially the gongs] Jayme Rose & Ben have been weaving with sound for years — both together and individually.

When Jayme got her second gong a few years ago new pathways of connection and service started to open! They began playing together which lead to creating their own offerings and traveling to multiple states to share their medicine. We are excited to share our collective Dance Medicine in this amazing community where consent, authentic communication, support & love rest at the foundation & core. In order to keep things safe in these uncertain times we ask that you take the necessary health precautions you feel called to take for yourself and respect the choice of others. (If you have felt sick, had a fever or cough, please do not attend.) Masks are welcome if that is appropriate for you, they will not be enforced.

Dance Medicine Philly is a drug & alcohol free event. We ask that there is no talking on the dance floor and no cameras used during the event. Please respect this as our intention is to offer folks a safe, supportive place to dance, move wiggle and wobble into full self expression.

Some things to consider bringing: Water bottle, yoga mat, something warm to cover with for the sound healing, acoustic instruments such as drums/rattles, fire and flow toys like hula hoops, juggling balls, and poi.

Come whenever you can arrive. If you need to come in late or leave early, this is ok. Kids of all ages are welcome too!!
