The evening combines structured speed dating with a relaxed open mixer, giving you the opportunity to meet multiple people without the pressure of committing to an entire first date.
To make expressing interest easier and more comfortable, attendees will receive a private Dating Card or QR-based digital scorecard. During or after the event, you can discreetly indicate which people you would like to connect with. If two attendees select each other, NYC SPARK will send a private match-results email the following morning.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Start the evening with casual conversation while everyone checks in and gets comfortable.

Structured Speed Dating
You'll take part in a series of short one-on-one conversations.
Each round gives you enough time to introduce yourself, have a genuine conversation, and see whether there's an initial connection before moving on to the next person.
The format is designed to keep things relaxed, approachable, and moving naturally throughout the evening.
Private Dating Card & Match System
During check-in, each attendee will receive instructions for using a private Dating Card or QR-based digital scorecard.
After meeting someone, you may discreetly mark whether you would like to connect with them. Your selections remain private.
The organizer will compare mutual selections after the event. If two attendees select each other, both will receive a private match-results email the following morning, subject to the contact information provided during registration.
Open Singles Mixer
After the structured rounds, the room opens into a casual mixer.
