See the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, catch the Rockettes, shop the dazzling holiday streets, grab a slice of NYC pizza, and soak up all the Christmas magic! ❤️🎅🏼
Day 1 Friday (December 18)
We depart Farragut (JCPenney-Turkey Creek) at 5:30pm then Knoxville (Walmart-Kinzel Way) at 6:30pm. We will also stop in route at Morristown (Exit 4-Pilot) and Bristol (Exit 7-Walmart) if requested at time of registration. Our first official stop of the trip will be a 30 minute stop in Wytheville, VA to switch out drivers and grab snacks before continuing onto the Big Apple.
Day 2 Saturday (December 19)
We stop in New Jersey, approximately an hour from NYC, to freshen up for our day of fun in the city. This stop will be a hour long to allow ample time to change clothes, brush your teeth, etc. Once arriving in New York at approximately 9am, we will drop everyone off at the New York City Public Library on 5th Ave. The library is on the same block as Bryant Park which is home to the Bryant Park Winter Village. You will have the next 12 hours to explore the city at your own pace. Everyone will return to the library (476 5th Ave) by 8:45pm to depart shortly after at 9pm. Once we leave the city we once again stop for an hour in New Jersey to change clothes and get comfy for the ride home.
Day 3 Sunday (December 20)
We will stop in Wytheville, VA to again switch drivers. This is a great time to grab breakfast at the Denny's or Burger King next door as we will be here for approximately 30 minutes.
We plan to return to Knoxville by 10am and Farragut by 11am.
