About this Event
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Northwest Territories Association of Communities (NWTAC) we are pleased to invite you to attend our 59th Annual General Meeting (AGM). This year the AGM will take place in Yellowknife from February 27 to March 1, 2025.
Travel days will be February 26 and March 2.
Our AGM will be held at the Chateau Nova Hotel (4571-48 St, Yellowknife). Meetings will be held in the Caribou and Lynx Rooms.
Each year, our AGM provides an ideal opportunity to meet and engage with leadership and partners of municipal governments from across the territory. The NWTAC AGM is a unique forum for networking, information-sharing and collaborating to achieve our mutual goals. Join us in Yellowknife as we work to achieve all that our members want to be!
HOTEL
The NWTAC will AT NO TIME be responsible for booking or paying any of the individual bookings for guests. PLEASE have your hotel send you a confirmation number for your records. We strongly recommend booking your hotel immediately as hotel space becomes extremely limited as our AGM date approaches.
NWTAC has secured rooms at the Chateau Nova Hotel for your convenience.

Registration:
Please register and fully complete the form, indicating the functions you will be joining us for (i.e., Opening Night Reception, Saturday Night Awards and Banquets). If you have any food restrictions please let us know as well.
Remember Thursday night is Auction night, time to have fun and bid on some amazing items. Saturday's banquet will include dinner, awards, and entertainment.

Information Trade Show
The Information Trade Show is an unequaled opportunity to present your products, services and organization to NWT decision makers and purchasers. The trade show is the AGM venue for businesses, organizations, federal and territorial government agencies, and departments to promote themselves and network with elected officials and administrators.
The trade show will be open during lunch and nutrition breaks, though times may vary due to agenda changes.

What's the refund policy?
All cancellation requests must be made in writing to the NWT Association of Communities. THE DEADLINE TO CANCEL YOUR REGISTRATION IS JANUARY 24, 2025. Cancellations received after January 24, 2025 will not receive a refund, however delegate names can be changed at no charge. All refunds will be processed at the completion of the 2025 AGM.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No.
Can I update my registration information?
Absolutely.
Also please ensure that you provide the NWTAC with all delegate email addresses, so we can send out pre-information to all attending.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes it is.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Please let us know in advance if this is the case.
