Want to learn more about winter biking? Join Ecology North and experienced cyclists from Communities in Motion, the YK Mountain Bike Club, and Overlander Sports, at the Legislative Assembly on Saturday, March 1st from 10:30am to 1:30pm. From 10:30-11:15am, learn about safety, gear, winterizing your bike, and more from winter biking experts in Yellowknife.
From 11:15-12:30pm, head outside to test different winterized bikes on a closed loop in the parking lot; or, join experienced cyclists on a guided trail ride to hone your winter cycling skills.
From 12:30-1:30pm, take over the roads in a critical mass ride down to the Snow Castle!
There will be hot drinks and snacks provided. This event is free and open to the public.
