Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art and game that includes elements of dance, music and spirituality. This introductory course focuses on the fundamentals of Capoeira movements and culture. Train in the basics to be able to play a game and learn about the history, the music and the philosophy behind this unique art that is a fight, a dance and a game. Accessible and fun for all.
Meta was introduced to Capoeira in Amsterdam and moved to Brazil to pursue full time training and a deeper understanding. She has been training and performing for 35 years and teaching for 25 years. Capoeira is the music, the dancing, and menacing playfulness.
