About this Event
You've done the mixer thing. You know how it goes: forty-five minutes of small talk, a pocket full of cards, and a phone full of names you can't match to faces by the next morning. Nobody follows up. Nothing happens. You call it "networking" because that's what it's labeled on the invite.
I'm done watching good people waste good time on that. So I'm doing something different.
I'm personally facilitating this one — not the mingle-and-hope model, and not turning conversation to chance. I give the room structure: prompts and a format that actually get you talking to the right people about the right things, instead of standing in a corner with the one person you already knew walking in.
Here's what that actually looks like:
