Nutrition and Olive Oil Tasting Masterclass with Dr Jenna Macciochi

At this exclusive olive oil and nutrition masterclass, Dr Jenna Macciochi will join our founder and EVOO sommelier Sarah Vachon to cover the wider context of Mediterranean-style eating patterns and how best to incorporate EVOO into your diet. She’ll also speak to the myths surrounding cooking with extra virgin olive oil, and the important differences between food traditions and trend-led wellness behaviours—including the viral EVOO shot.

Starting with a welcome drink, Sarah will be your guide through 90 minutes of all things EVOO. We'll cover what actually makes olive oil "extra virgin", and how to taste like a true connoisseur.

You'll sample at least three different extra virgin olive oils, from delicate to robust, and we'll pair the oils with two snacks — one savoury, one sweet — to show just how versatile EVOO can be.

Dr Jenna Macciochi, an immunologist, author, breathwork practitioner, and science communicator specialising in the intersection of immunity, nutrition, nervous system health and human resilience. She is Director of Science & Innovation at Ancient + Brave, where she leads across scientific strategy, clinical trials and science communication.

Known for her “science with soul” approach, Jenna translates complex science into grounded, accessible conversations around modern wellbeing, longevity and the systems that shape human health. Her work explores everything from inflammation and metabolism to stress physiology, interoception and the impact of modern lifestyles on our biology.
