Cake and Eight – Nutcracker Ballet EditionCreate an enchanting Nutcracker-inspired dessert collection as you decorate a whimsical six-inch cake, eight coordinating cupcakes, and festive sugar cookie cake toppers inspired by the timeless holiday ballet.
All supplies are included.
Students may bring a drink, snack, and apron if they choose.
Please note: The classroom can get cold. A light jacket is recommended.
What You'll Be Creating
Can't decide between cake, cupcakes, or cookies? Now you don't have to!
Each student will decorate:
One 6-inch cake featuring elegant winter-inspired buttercream in soft shades of icy blue, blush pink, white, and silver, adorned with three Nutcracker Ballet-themed sugar cookie cake toppers that complete the design.
Eight coordinating cupcakes decorated with beautiful holiday buttercream, festive sprinkles, and elegant seasonal accents to perfectly complement the cake.
We'll be working with rich butter vanilla cake and smooth, velvety Swiss meringue buttercream to bring your holiday creations to life.
What You'll Learn
This class is packed with beginner-friendly techniques and is perfect for anyone wanting a strong foundation in cake decorating. You'll learn:
How to ice a cake smoothly using basic buttercream techniques
How to work with piping bags and various piping tips to create decorative designs
How to mix and create your own custom buttercream colors
How to work with fondant and molds for decorative elements
How to use dry food color pigments and brushing techniques
How to work with edible mediums like glitter, sprinkles, and decorative accents
Tips for creating a coordinated dessert collection
By the end of class, you'll have completed a 6-inch decorated cake featuring three handmade Nutcracker Ballet-inspired sugar cookie cake toppers—a Nutcracker, a graceful ballerina, and the Mouse King's crown—along with eight coordinating cupcakes and the skills to recreate them at home!
Ticket Options (Please Read Carefully)
Student Ticket – $75
One project per student
Ages 12+
Parent & Me Ticket – $85
One project will be shared between:
One parent/guardian (age 18+)
One child (ages 8–11)
Age Requirements
Children ages 8–11 MUST attend with an adult (Parent & Me ticket required)
Students 12+ may attend independently
All students 12+ must have their own ticket

Failure to follow age and ticketing requirements may result in denied entry without a refund.
Ticket Policy (Please Read Before Purchasing)
Late arrivals: To avoid disrupting instruction, students who arrive more than 10 minutes after the scheduled class start time will not be admitted into class. If you know you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. Students who fail to notify us in advance and are denied entry due to late arrival will forfeit their ticket and are not eligible for a refund or transfer.
All class tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason at any time. This includes cancellations, schedule conflicts, no-shows, late arrivals, illness, or failure to meet class requirements.
By purchasing a ticket, you are reserving a seat in class. Supplies are purchased, prepared, and portioned specifically for each student. Labor is involved in advance preparation and many materials cannot be reused once prepared.
If you cannot attend, you may request a one-time transfer with at least 48 hours' notice if space allows, but this is not guaranteed.
Failure to meet class requirements or follow class policies may result in denial of participation without refund.
