UIC students, in collaboration with the Asian American Resource and Cultural Center (AARCC) at UIC and the Filipino American Historical Society of Chicago, will read a range of stories from Filipino nurses as part of the residency of "Unheard Voices of Care: Filipino Nurses in America." The program will include memories from nurses over the decades as well as artistic narratives drawn from the real lives of area nurses. The program is free. The exhibit will be in residency at the AARCC until Dec. 4, 2026 and is open to the public during office hours.
