We advise to book your Antenatal Baby Feeding Classes for when you are between 30-36 weeks pregnant.
The face-to-face classes are a total of 3 sessions + Tour of the Maternity Unit and are run by a specialist Parent Education Midwife and Infant Feeding Team. There are 2 Parental Education Classes plus a class About Baby Feeding.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BOOK THE 2 PARENTAL CLASSES PLUS THE BABY FEEDING CLASS AS THE CLASSES ARE DIVIDED OVER 3 SESSIONS!
You can attend the sessions on different weeks, depending on your work-life schedule.
PLEASE, BE AWARE, CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE ONLY FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE THEIR MATERNITY CARE UNDER NEWHAM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL.
By the end of these 3 sessions will have awareness of what to expect and how you can be prepared for the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period.
