Calling all curious minds! Nuclear Science Week wraps up with a free day of discovery for all ages at AMSE. Nuclear Energy Discovery Day brings together our incredible network of nuclear partners for an action-packed day of hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and a campus-wide scavenger hunt. Meet the people powering Oak Ridge's nuclear future, try real science for yourself, and explore the museum that tells the story of Oak Ridge innovation.
Admission to AMSE is FREE during the event, thanks to our presenting sponsor, Kairos Power. Bring the whole family!
Nuclear Science Week 2026 is presented by Kairos Power, with day sponsors CNS/Y-12, Orano USA and the East Tennessee Economic Council, and supporting sponsor Type One Energy.
