Explore the nuances of coffee through a curated tasting experience, featuring exceptional coffees alongside thoughtfully selected food and dessert pairings.
Each coffee will be brewed specially to highlight tasting notes followed by a food pairing to create a multi-course sensory experience like no other. Noël Noir was developed to showcase artfully brewed specialty coffee — served black as intended. Learn about how terroir, processing, and variety of each featured coffee unite to produce its exceptional flavor, and how the brewing method and recipe is selected to exhibit each selection thoughtfully.
Our Coffee Educators will guide you through this special coffee tasting, featuring thoughtfully selected food pairings designed to complement each coffee and build your sensory experience throughout the duration of the class. Portions will be single servings of light bites paired with 4oz of coffee in each course. All coffee will be served black aside from one final milk drink at the conclusion of the event.
This class will be hosted in a holiday atmosphere at the Eastman Bar — underneath DOCR’s Rochester Cafe. Expect holiday ambiance, a meaningful multi-sensory experience, quality service, and thoughtful brewing demonstrations from our coffee educators — the perfect event to look forward to during the holiday season. Each attendee will walk away with samples of whole bean coffee from our featured selections to help savor this event in the weeks to come. Coffees and pairings are preselected, no substitutions will be available. Please inquire with any food allergies or dietary restrictions at [email protected]. No alcohol or spirits will be served. All ages welcome.
Doors will open at 4pm for those who’d like to arrive early, get comfy, and chat amongst each other, with the event promptly beginning at 4:30pm. Come enjoy this special tasting experience before your Sunday dinner in your Sunday best!
