Join us for a birding hike along Whalon Lake (1490 Royce Rd, Naperville, IL 60565) as we explore the exciting arrival of migrating waterfowl! We’ll search the shoreline and open waters for ducks, geese, grebes, and other waterbirds stopping by during their seasonal journey. Along the way, we’ll enjoy the changing landscape, sharpen our identification skills, and learn about the fascinating migration strategies that bring these birds to the lake. Bring your binoculars and scopes, dress for the weather, and get ready for a morning of waterfowl watching! We will meet by the boat ramp at 9am.
No registration required. Any questions can be emailed to WCAS Field Trip Chair Kara Morales at [email protected].
