Midterm Confessions from a Childless Cat LadyDirected by Robbie Distasio

When she was fifteen years old, Heidi Shreck traveled the country, taking part in constitutional debates to earn scholarship money for college. Decades later, in her play "What the Constitution Means to Me", she traces the effect that the Constitution has had on four generations of women in her family, examining how the United States' founding principles are inextricably linked with our personal lives. With this, cut and sprinkled with a few selections from the musical, "Suffs", by Shaina Taub, Colleen O'Connor explores her political rage, despair, and hope in 60 minutes of political theatre.
The reading will be followed by refreshments and a chance to talk with director and actors, $5 at the door.
