Join us for our Third Annual WORKSHOP FOR SANTA'S WORKSHOP (and a surprise celebration!) This has been our most well-attended event in the past, and the Pleasant Gap Elementary (PGE) School PTO appreciates our donations to their Santa's Workshop (where students shop for inexpensive gifts for family and friends). This year you'll paint at least one wine bottle to be donated to PGE's Santa's Workshop (they love them!) and can paint a second one for yourself. We'll also paint/decoupage wooden pieces and other items. You can create up to 4 items for yourself, and also make as many additional items as you'd like that will be donated to Santa's Workshop. Holiday theme is not required (a variety of themes might be nice for the school donations). We'll provide all materials. Feel free to bring anything you'd like to add to your creations! If you have any items at home that you'd like to donate to Santa's Workshop, feel free to bring those and we'll be sure they get to the school.
AND, we’ll once again SURPRISE one of our regular painters, Martha Yarnell, who will turn 98 years young on Nov. 13. Please bring a birthday card for her. And remember, this is a SURPRISE! (If you’d prefer to mail a card, contact me for Martha’s address).
Cost is $20, and includes all supplies and light refreshments. It's always interesting to see everybody's creativity in this type of crafting! Seating is limited, so please RSVP by Thursday, Nov 5, to let us know your plans to attend.
Join us for friendship and fun, and help support our local school and the Relay for Life (all proceeds are donated to Relay thanks to individual donations and a grant from Thrivent Financial which covers the cost of all supplies).
FYI: Mark your calendar with these tentative dates for our future painting/crafting events (subject to change): Dec. 13, Jan. 10, Feb. 14 (may change), Mar.14, Apr. 11, and May (to be determined)
