Jessica’s love of vintage fashion began in childhood, inspired by her parents’ 1920s paper doll book and early memories of dressing up for the ACD Labor Day Parade of Classics. Her passion truly took root in 2005, when her first ACD Week and Ladies of ACD Tea introduced her to the elegance of authentic and period-inspired fashion.
Soon after, she discovered a $5 1940s ivory and red rayon dress at a local antique store—a serendipitous find that marked the beginning of her vintage clothing collection.
Over the past 20 years, Jessica has continued to curate vintage looks for ACD events, building a collection of several hundred dresses, coats, hats, and shoes. She is delighted to share pieces from her collection through Threads & Treads and hopes visitors find as much joy in the fashion of the era as they do in its remarkable automobiles.
