MadJax | Downtown Muncie
Free and open to the public!
There is a lot to explore at MadJax during November's First Thursday!
We're putting the creativity and talent of Ball State University's College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) students in the spotlight with a special showcase of student projects, designs, models, and creative work throughout our first floor.
Meet the students behind the projects, hear about their creative processes, and see what they've been designing, building, and imagining for the future.
The showcase celebrates our ongoing partnership with BSU CAP, which has a dedicated lab in the MadJax Shipyard and regularly brings students and classes into our building for hands-on learning and collaboration.
And that's not all happening at MadJax:
NEW EXHIBITION: Pressing Matters in TOOLSONG Gallery
Explore Pressing Matters, a colorful community art exhibition led by Molly Schaller featuring Gelli prints created by Muncie residents of all ages. This isn't just an exhibition to look at! Visitors can try Gelli printing for themselves and create a one-of-a-kind print to take home or contribute to the exhibition.
RAINBOLT SIPS AT THE SIP STATION
Grab something refreshing while you explore! Rainbolt Sips will be serving drinks available for purchase at the Sip Station.
Free admission. Parking is available at the corner of Monroe and Main and Monroe and Jackson, plus there's several on-street parking spots within a block of MadJax.
