Macon Fashion Week on First Friday
Macon Fashion Week is a weeklong celebration of fashion, creativity, and community, with a different theme each day. Catch three events downtown this First Friday!
👗 Fashion Opens Doors: Art & Accessibility | 12 to 1 PM
Join Macon-Milledgeville Regional Habitat for Humanity and special guest Karla Redding-Andrews for a Lunch and Listen at Wesleyan College Leadership Lab.
✨ Style Class with Nikko Smith | 5 PM
Wardrobe stylist Nikko Smith leads style education demonstrations featuring Wesleyan College students at the Wesleyan College Leadership Lab.
🌃 Urban Runway | 8 PM
Watch the runway come to life on Poplar Street between Second and Third Streets. Featuring a variety of experienced designers.
Plus, all students who are participating in Macon Fashion Week can enjoy their first yoga class at Wellness Hug for only 8$!
ART GALLERY SPECIAL EXHIBITS
- Macon Arts Alliance (486 1st Street), 4-7 pm
Macon Arts Alliance presents a group exhibit of textile art along with a fashion show.
- The 567 Center for Renewal (456 1st St), 5-8 pm
The 567 presents “Favorite Things,” featuring giftable art and handcrafted holiday decor for $100 and under. See the new exhibit and enjoy light refreshments.
- McEachern Art Center (332 2nd St), 6-8 pm
In “Transformations: Layers of Time and Self,” artist Marian Zielinski brings together abstract quilted works that explore memory, place, identity, and the accumulation of lived experience.
- Gallery West (447 3rd St), 5-9 pm
Visit Gallery West for art by Cadillak Slim aka A’Keara Danielle: Mad Woman Gets the Blues, featuring music by Trombone Slim.

Experience one of Macon's most beloved late-night locations. The drinks are flowing and DJ Carlos Flores is always playing the tunes that make you bust it down.
- Hightales & Loom at Hotel Forty Five, 7-9 PM
Start the month right on the rooftop at Hightales, 7-9 PM, with live music, crafted cocktails, and comfort bites made for lingering. Then head downstairs to Loom for their own First Friday food and drink specials, plus live singers and bands filling the room.

Downtown has a new spot to fall in love with. Inspired by the warmth, hospitality, and flavors of Southern Spain, Andalusia brings great food, great conversation, and memorable evenings together in one beautifully designed space.

On every 1st Friday, a special guest takes the spotlight to showcase their talent, whether that's spoken word, art, or an instrumental performance. The evening closes out with a sound bath led by Cam.
- Sixth Ave has vintage clothing bins and also puts out newly stocked items in their shop on First Fridays. Check out their authenticated shoes, streetwear clothing brands and more!
- Shuster's Candy and Creamery is perfect for a date night! They are open through 10 PM on Fridays so you can get a late-night snack after enjoying live music or on the way to your next spot!
- The Bohemian Den: Stays open late through 9 PM on First Fridays and features artists!
Rabbit Hole: Stays open late on First Fridays! Check out their curated finds and also a community that will keep you returning!
- Sweet Eleanor's is now hosting Afterglow on Friday and Saturday nights. This is a sober late-night event with low lights, coffee, mocktails, and small plates.
