It's been nearly 2 years since we've visited Quarry Lakes. Meet Saturday November 7 at 8:00am in the main parking lot. After passing through the entry kiosk turn right and drive to the end of the lot near the native plant garden. We'll see a variety of wintering ducks and if we're lucky we may see species like bald eagle, belted kingfisher or a falcon of some kind. The full loop can be a little on the long side at 3.5ish miles. There will be a good turnaround spot about a mile out and we can make a gametime decision based on interest and time available if some/all people want to complete the extended loop.
