What if the smallest moments of your life were worth writing down?
What if a memory could become a landscape? What if an ordinary Tuesday could become a poem?
November’s H.O.T. Poets Writing Circle explores the art of transforming memory, intimacy, ordinary moments, and things left unsaid into poetry.
This month, we’ll study three poets with radically different approaches to emotional storytelling:
🌙 OCEAN VUONG- imagery, metaphor, memory, family & tenderness
🍂 ADA LIMÓN- ordinary moments, intimacy, nature, relationships & finding the extraordinary in everyday life
🕯️ LOUISE GLÜCK- restraint, grief, mythology, relationships & the power of what remains unsaid
We’ll study their work as writers, not just readers and use their techniques as inspiration for our own poems.
