Our Bethlehem Bach at Noon season continues on November 10th at Central Moravian Church. Gather with us for this free, inspiring concert series, a musical gift to our community. The November Bach at Noon concert was named in honor of Greg Funfgeld in celebration of his 25th season as the sixth conductor of the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, his extraordinary vision, including the initiation of Bach at Noon, and the phenomenal growth and development of the Choir's program and artistry under his leadership. The concert is named and supported in part by a generous endowment gift from Donald and Christine Wertman.November’s Bach at Noon pairs Corelli’s “Christmas Concerto,” an early taste of the holiday season, with Bach’s Brich dem Hungrigen dein Brot, BWV 39 (“Share your bread with the hungry”). With Thanksgiving approaching, the cantata’s call to feed the hungry and care for our neighbors feels especially timely. Members of the Bach Festival Orchestra join soprano Sophia Santiago, alto Lauren Kelly, tenor Christopher Hodson, and bass Jonathan Woody for the program.
