November Assembly: SALA Turns 13!

Invite people and come celebrate with us, Sunday, November 8th at 11am at CFI West! Whether you’ve been coming for years or have been meaning to check us out, we’d love to see you. There will be cake!
Our speaker this month is three-time Emmy Award-winning documentarian Martin Doblmeier. His work has taken him to more than 50 countries, exploring the lives of people including Desmond Tutu, Elie Wiesel and Jimmy Carter. His latest PBS project, Christianity at a Crossroads, even includes a chapter on our friends at Sunday Assembly San Diego. He’ll share what he learned while making it and how communities like ours fit into America’s changing relationship with religion.
Paul Svenson is coming up from Sunday Assembly San Diego to lead our singalongs, Erin White is Trying Her Best and Sam Renderos and Marsha Swallow will be hosting.
Childcare will be available, and we’ll have our potluck afterward. Bring a dish if you can, but don’t let coming empty-handed keep you home. Come help us celebrate!
