Come dancing with us on Saturday, Nov. 7! We're excited to welcome Sarah Kaiser from St. Louis calling (ladies/gents) to the lively sounds of Louisville's own Hot Coffee Breakdown! This popular band travels to contra dance weekends throughout the country, and we're looking forward to having them in Lexington!The dance runs from 8-11 p.m., with an optional beginner workshop at 7:30 p.m. If you've never tried contra dancing, this is a great opportunity to give it a whirl! No partner or experience is needed, and everyone is welcome.
We'll be dancing at Artworks at the Carver School, 522 Patterson St., Lexington.
Admission is $10, or $5 for students and first-time dancers.
Wear comfortable shoes, bring a water bottle, and join us for a fun evening of live music, dancing and community. Snacks are welcome. Bring a friend or come on your own — we'd love to see you there!
