Your country's position sounds airtight in your notes, right up until another delegate asks the one question you never prepared for. You answer anyway, adjusting the argument mid sentence, and it somehow holds together. That unplanned moment, not the prepared speech before it, is what actually pulls people back every year.Notre Dame International Peace and Harmony Club presents Notre Dame College Intra Model United Nations 2026, NDCIMUN 26.
Model United Nations asks you to represent a country’s position on an issue and make the case for it in a room full of different views. At NDCIMUN 26, you will research your assigned country, speak in committee, listen closely to other delegates, and revise your ideas as the discussion develops. You may help draft a resolution that gains support through careful negotiation or, in International Press, follow the debate closely, ask direct questions, and turn the day’s most important moments into a story. Newcomers usually learn the format quickly once the session begins. Most delegates leave with clearer thinking, stronger writing and speaking skills, and a few people they are glad to have met.
NDCIMUN provides a platform to learn the art of diplomacy along with top-notch academics and logistics, all within an accessible price. The experience gained through this conference will leave the delegates ready for future simulations, having the opportunity to craft leadership and earn skills.
Some of you have attended committees before and know exactly how to read a room before it splits on a vote. Others have never touched a placard and are not sure what a moderated caucus even is. Both belong here. NDCIMUN 26 rewards delegates who prepare the most, not delegates who have done this longest.
Registration is now open. Register now from the booth on college premises.
