Cerebral Palsy Awareness & Caregivers Fundraiser brings the Gulf Coast together for an evening of soulful music in support of a cause close to home. Inspired by the DJ Cares Global Initiative and powered by NOSACONN, Inc. — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to music and arts cultural exchange — this fundraiser channels the joy of live performance into direct support for individuals living with cerebral palsy and the caregivers who show up for them every day.The night is headlined by Louisiana Music Hall of Fame inductees David Batiste & Gladiators, joined by Damon Batiste & the NOSACONN All Stars, with special guest performances from Jonté Mayon and James Andrews, "Satchmo of the Ghetto." The evening also features a special tribute marking the Batiste Brothers Band's 50th Anniversary, honoring Paul Batiste and Russell Batiste Jr., "The Young Lion," whose family's musical legacy has shaped New Orleans funk and soul for half a century.
Proceeds from the event support cerebral palsy awareness programs and resources for caregivers, with all funds going directly back into the community NOSACONN serves. The evening is made possible in partnership with Revanche Cognac, the New Orleans Fashion Institute, and Gumbocoolio.com.
