Learn How to Save with NPU Rebates & Incentives
Join Norwich Public Utilities for a FREE Customer Workshop and learn about the rebates, incentives and financing options available to help make energy-saving home improvements more affordable.
We’ll provide an overview of all NPU residential energy efficiency rebates and incentives, with a special focus on the Cooling & Heating Incentive Pilot Program (CHIPP) and the benefits of high-efficiency, cold-climate heat pumps.
Learn how heat pumps can provide heating and cooling in one system, improve year-round comfort and help lower energy use. We’ll also explain available CHIPP incentives, including rebates for heat pumps, integrated controls, heat pump water heaters and qualifying window heat pump units.
We’ll also cover other NPU programs and incentives, including smart thermostats, insulation improvements, ENERGY STAR® appliances, electric vehicles and home charging, natural gas equipment, Cool Choice incentives, Home Energy Savings Audits and financing options.

This event is open to homeowners, renters, landlords, and small business customers. All are welcome.
*Heat pump system costs will vary widely based on configuration, location, installer, and manufacturer. Actual percentage of total system cost covered by the CHIPP rebate will vary accordingly.
