Join us for the 2nd Annual Norwalk Black Heritage Parade as we celebrate the rich history, culture, achievements and contributions of the Black community in Norwalk and beyond!On Saturday, September 26, 2026, the streets of Norwalk will come alive with music, dance and step teams, community organizations, businesses, churches, schools, youth groups, elected officials, decorated vehicles and cultural performances in a vibrant display of unity and pride.
This celebration is more than a parade, it's an opportunity to honor those who came before us, celebrate the present and inspire future generations.
Following the parade, the celebration continues in the park with:
- Live music and entertainment
- Food vendors and food trucks
- Local vendors and community organizations
- Family-friendly activities
- Special presentations and recognitions
- Opportunities to connect with the community
Whether you're walking in the parade, cheering from the sidelines, volunteering, or joining us in the park, everyone is welcome to be part of this historic community celebration.
