Renowned Michigan ensemble Northwoods Improvisers will be performing at Electric Kitsch, on Friday October 9th. Featuring founding members Mike Johnston (bass, flutes) and Nick Ashton (drums), along with newest members Mike Khoury (violin), and Jack O'Brien (cello, bass), and special guest and former contributing Northwoods member, legendary Detroit saxophonist, musician, historian, scholar, and writer, Skeeter Shelton.
Source Of Light & Power featuring Mitch Anderson on keys, and Jordan Pries on drums will open the night at 630pm. Northwoods will immediately follow and start promptly at 7pm!!!
FREE, donations highly encouraged for traveling musicians.
