NORTHERN SOUL DANCE CLASS Learn to dance. Learn the steps. Hit the floor. For the first time at Cologne Soul Weekender, we’re bringing a proper Northern Soul dance class to one of Cologne’s most renowned dance schools.
📍 Tanzschule Schulerecki, Cologne
Right opposite the Gloria — and just a short walk from our Saturday Alldayer. 🕑 Saturday | 2–4 PM
The dance school became widely known in Germany through Let’s Dance (Strictly Come Dancing) and offers a seriously good dance floor: real hardwood, built for professional dancers.
And this is not your average dance class.
You’ll be taught by Jack Morgan, a true star of the Northern Soul scene and 2023 World Northern Soul Dance Champion — bringing the real moves, the real style and the real attitude of the dance floor.
No ballroom. No fancy routines.
Just Northern Soul, footwork, spins, drops and serious dancing.
BRING:
👟 Danceable shoes
💦 A towel
🔥 And enough energy to survive two hours on the floor.
The class takes place at the same time as our Saturday Alldayer, so you can learn the moves first — and then put them to use on the dance floor afterwards.
Come ready to move.
Keep the faith!
See you on the floor.
