The 1st annual Northern Lights Grandparents and Special Friends Day is Friday, Nov. 13th at school. Let's invite the special people in our lives to join us for an hour of talking, listening, making, creating, remembering, playing, recording and simply being together. We ask all Northern Lights participants to register in advance by filling out the Google Doc link below. Family and special friends are invited to come during the times listed that coincide with their students grade level:
8:50-9:50 K, 1st, 2nd
10:00-11:00 3rd, 4th
11:10-12:10 5th, 6th
12:20-1:20 7th, 8th
Activities:
There will be a short welcome in the gym at the beginning of each grade time slot
Open Studio - Make some intergenerational art
Library - 1:1 or small group Reading
Gym - Photo Booth / Videos + Interviews, Sidewalk Talks
Outdoor classroom (weather permitting) Sidewalk Talks
Classrooms - exploration / choice activities
