Joshua Barlage, Conductor2027 Young Artists Competition Winners
Join us at 2:25pm for a pre-concert recital featuring winners of this year’s Youth Honors Competition.
Celebrate the next generation of musical talent alongside vivid musical storytelling and sweeping landscapes of Northern Europe. On the program are selections from Grieg’s Peer Gynt, offering colorful and evocative music spanning from the serene beauty of “Morning Mood” to the thrilling intensity of “In the Hall of the Mountain King”. The concert concludes with Sibelius’s stirring Finlandia, a powerful musical portrait of national pride and perseverance. Our season finale celebrates both the enduring legacy of great music and the bright future of the artists who will carry it forward.
The featured Young Artists will be announced following January's competition. Please visit our website for additional concert information: https://fdsymphony.org/concert-4/
