The City of Montrose is planning to reconstruct North Park Avenue between Main Street and the San Juan Bypass to improve safety and accessibility for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians.Join us for an open house to learn about the proposed project, review planned improvements, and provide feeback. The event will begin with a brief presentation, followed by an opportunity to meet with the project team.
Project Highlights Include:
Roadway and pavement improvements
Sidewalk and accessibility upgrades
Expanded bike lane connections
Improved crosswalks and school zone safety
Curb and gutter repairs
Water and sanitary sewer line replacements
Anticipated Construction: April–October 2027, with work in front of school areas planned for completion before school resumes in August.
The project schedule and milestones are pending City Council and budget approval.
