About this Event
Celebrate the sights, sounds and flavors of Oktoberfest in downtown Hazard! This outdoor event will bring a full day of entertainment and family-friendly fun to The Grand, with something for guests of all ages.
Attendees can enjoy Appalachian Mountain Wrestling, stein-holding contests, dachshund races, a pretzel-eating contest, children’s activities, food and drinks, and a variety of merchandise vendors. The day will also feature live music from Ian Noe, Jordan Lee King, Emily Jamerson and Josh Craig. Football fans won’t have to miss the action—the UK vs. LSU game will be shown on the TV at The Grand.
General admission seating will be available. Guests are encouraged to bring bag chairs, folding chairs or lawn chairs for comfortable seating throughout the day.
Children ages 12 and under receive free admission but must be accompanied by an adult. Because this is an outdoor event, guests should dress appropriately for the weather.
