Join Visit NC for the launch of the North Carolina Hidden Gems GeoTour, a statewide hunt for the weird, the wild and the wonderful. Every stop points you off the main road, from roadside oddities to natural wonders most visitors drive right past.Come mingle with fellow geocachers, grab some custom GeoTour swag and hear from the Visit North Carolina team about what is in store across the state. Light refreshments (prepackaged snacks and beverages) will be available. At 11 a.m., the GeoTour officially goes live and geocachers everywhere can start hunting.
This event will be rain or shine, weather permitting, with accessible restrooms on-site.
