Be Prepared. Do you know what to do in an emergency?Outdoor UW is offering a Wilderness First Responder Recertification course through NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI). 🌲⛺️🥾
This 24-hour course is designed to update and recertify your skills in making critical medical and evacuation decision in the wilderness. With a combination of online and in-portion sections, this course is intended for individuals holding a current Wilderness First Responder Certification or who are in their certification's grace period.
The course is taught by seasoned instructors and the in-person portion of the course takes place across 2 days, from 8AM-5PM. Learning takes place both in the classroom and in outdoor settings regardless of weather conditions.
