NOISE.TTE (France)
Described as the missing link between jazz and punk, this French power unit delve deep into uncharted territory with flute, drums, electronics and voice. Processed instruments and vocals clash with punk’s explosive energy. Taking influence from bands such as Boredoms, Napalm Death and Lightning Bolt, the duo of Calamity and Kikie play loud and tough. A rare opportunity to see this act live in the states.
ANTON PONOMAREV (Switzerland)
Multi-instrumentalist from Moscow, currently residing in Zürich with with an unhealthy obsession for free jazz, punk jazz, grindcore, improvised and experimental music. Saxophones, trumpets, clarinets and electronics inform his live performances and recordings with P/O Massacre, Brom, Suncuts, Witness Wounds and Teufelskeller.
NICK VERBOS (Milwaukee)
Nick verbos is a musician/composer based in Milwaukee. His music focuses heavily on improvisation and incorporates electronics and samples, drawing on influences from free jazz, dub, heavy metal, ambient, etc. He performs solo as well as in groups like Fundamentals and Feral Kid Theory. He is also the founder and curator of the Nuit Du Surréalisme festival and the Voyages Series.
