NOISES OFFBy Michael Frayn
Directed by Jaclyn June Johnson
April 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18
Michael Frayn's masterpiece of comic construction takes audiences behind the velvet curtain and into the gloriously unhinged world of a second-rate theater troupe staging a creaky comedy called Nothing On. What begins as a disastrous dress rehearsal quickly unravels into a catastrophic tangle of missed cues, forgotten lines, slamming doors, and bruised egos — all while simmering romantic rivalries and personal vendettas threaten to bring the whole production crashing down around them. Noises Off is a love letter to the beautiful chaos of live theater, revealing that what happens behind the curtain is far more absurd than anything on stage.
*Our ASL interpreted performance + Audio Descriptions will be held on April 16.
