Nanaimo metal/punk/weirdo record store/rock shop NOISEAGONYMAYHEM celebrates its THIRD ANNIVERSARY with a super special 2 Day 10 Band celebration at the GLOBE LIVE STUDIO on FRIDAY NOVEMBER 20th and SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21st. Raising the stakes up from last year’s 8 band extravaganza, this year we have TEN bands over the 2 days, featuring some of Nanaimo’s top favs in the metal, punk and psych weirdo realms, plus extra special guests from Vancouver and Victoria. As in years past, several of the bands playing this year have released albums on our NoiseAgonyMayhem record label to boot (and maybe some future releases in store too).
This year’s roster features:
FRIDAY NOVEMBER 20th 2026
DAGGER (NWOBCHM, Vancouver )
dagger-666.bandcamp.com
It’s blue jeans, it’s leather jackets, it’s pointy boots, it’s the New Wave Of British Columbian Heavy Metal… it’s DAGGER
AS ASH FELL (Doom/Goth/Groove Metal, Nanaimo)
asashfell.bandcamp.com
As Ash Fell is a female fronted band formed in 2014 and based out of Nanaimo, BC, featuring a mixture of goth metal and doom metal with heavy riffs and soulful vocals.
SKULL (D-Beat, Victoria)
instagram.com/skullbandvictoria
Dbeat madness that will kick you straight in the balls. Blending elements of motorcharge, hardcore and crossover. We are Sküll-fuck you.
IRON & ROT (Doom/Noise, Nanaimo)
instagram.com/ironandrot
Doom noise from Nanaimo.
PYROMANCY (Black Metal, Nanaimo, debut performance) *
hailpyromancy.bandcamp.com
Black metal from the darkest depths of Hell.
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21st 2026
GORILLA FLIP (Punk/Metal, Nanaimo)
gorillaflip.bandcamp.com/
Gorilla Flip embodies excessively anrgy, political and to be frank, kinda dumb punk. Regardless Gorilla Flip maintains their position as a staple of the Nanaimo Punk Scene showing that regardless of background everyone can still sling.
MASSIRRAYTORR (Psych/Stoner Rock, Nanaimo) *
massirraytorr.bandcamp.com
Massirraytorr arrives at the conduit of rock glory with mad respect to Hawkwind while bathing in a stew of Monster Magnet stirred by a disturbed Grand Funk that flows into Motorhead swimming in a cocktail of cough medicine with the angel of dark lightened with the love of the herb. Welcome to the head of Massirraytorr.
BEHAVIORS (Psych/Grunge, Nanaimo) *
https://badbehaviors.bandcamp.com/
Behaviors harken their sound back to bands from the good ol’ days of pre-Nevermind underground indie rock, later sold to the masses as ‘grunge’ but by then missing some of the original spark. Behaviors have that spark in spades mixed with the abstract notion of the reality of today’s hell hole.
SOUNDRAIN (Punk Rock, Nanaimo)
instagram.com/soundrain_official
Misfits covers and more, watch these teenagers as they move quickly up the punk rock ladder.
CRUCIFIED UTERUS (Punk Rock, Nanaimo)
instagram.com/crucified_uterus
If you love songs about decomposition, women's reproductive rights, and the harsh realities of living in our day to day world, well, you just might be interested in what we have to share.
