There are traditions, and then there are traditions.For the 13th year, we’re kicking off the holiday season at Speak of the Devil the way we know best: by making an unreasonable amount of egg nog and putting a big pot of glögg in the warmer.
NOG & GLÖGG is back.
For one weekend, the bar gets a little warmer, the lights seem a little softer, and the whole place starts smelling like baking spices, citrus, booze and whatever questionable decisions Christmas is preparing for us.
We’ll have our rich, delicious house egg nog flowing all weekend, alongside a steaming pot of glögg—that wonderful Scandinavian concoction of warm spiced wine, spirits, fruit and spice that makes an Ohio November seem considerably more civilized.
It’s simple. It’s cozy. It’s boozy.
And after thirteen years, it’s become one of our favorite little Speak of the Devil holiday traditions.
Come in from the cold. Have a nog. Have a glögg.
Hell, have both.
