Join us for Noche de Ofrendas, a special evening of remembrance, reflection and community as we officially open our 2026 Ofrendas Exhibition, curated by MECA Cultural Ambassador Luis Gavito. Each year, it is an honor for MECA to welcome families, artists and community members who share their stories and create ofrendas in memory of loved ones who are no longer with us.
Wander through the historic hallways of MECA's Historic Dow School and experience more than 40 community-created ofrendas. Through photographs, marigolds, candles, artwork and treasured personal mementos, each altar tells a unique story of love, family and remembrance.
