DOOM’S DAY — A NO REQUESTS 4TH ANNIVERSARYFour years. Four decks. Two DJs. One vibe.
This month, No Requests celebrates four years at the White Eagle Saloon — and we’re marking the occasion by paying tribute to one of Hip Hop’s most influential and enigmatic figures:
MF DOOM.
But the story of No Requests actually starts a little earlier.
In May 2022, DJ Klyph and DJ Ambush did their first sets together. What started as a couple of DJs getting behind the decks together eventually became the foundation for what would grow into No Requests — a monthly celebration of Golden Era Hip Hop, deep cuts, classics, influences and the culture surrounding it.
Four years later, we’re still here.
For this anniversary, we’re putting the spotlight on DOOM — the supervillain, the wordsmith, the producer, the villainous alter egos, the masked legend and the unmistakable sound that continues to influence Hip Hop.
