Join Melinda Powers CEO of Intentional Professionals, in person for a hands-on session all about crafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that keep your nonprofit's mission thriving long after you’ve left.
No One Owns the Mission: Building Operational Legacy with Nonprofit SOPs is a two-hour, hands-on workshop that teaches nonprofit founders and leaders how to turn institutional knowledge into clear, repeatable processes. Participants will explore how Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) can preserve organizational knowledge, strengthen continuity, clarify responsibilities, support staff and volunteers, and reduce dependence on any one person without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
Each participant will identify a real process within their organization and draft a complete SOP during the workshop. Participants will exchange SOPs for structured peer review, revise their work, and leave with a Version 1.0 SOP ready to test within their organization.
