Fall color, seasonal waterfalls, and a walk across one of the tallest bridges in Washington. Join us for a slow, easy trail day on Olympic forest roads. Lunch is on us, served right off the NJO flatbed.
Built for rigs with a little lift and real tires. Bring your truck, your crew, and a good rain jacket.
THE PLAN
8:00 AM: Check in at Next Jump Outfitters in Tacoma
8:15 AM: Route briefing
8:30 AM: We roll out. Sharp.
Around 10:30 AM: High Steel Bridge. Walk the span, look 375 feet down into the gorge, then cross together as a convoy for the group shot
.
Midday: Free lunch at a forest opening. Hotdogs, chips and drinks off the flatbed, plus a look inside the NJO flatbed and how it's built for real trail days.
Afternoon: Gravel forest roads, fall color and waterfall views on the way back to the shop. Need to head home early? Peel off whenever you need to.
GOOD TO KNOW
Free to join.
Click Going so we bring enough hotdogs.
Rig requirements: 33-inch all-terrain tires and a small lift. The pace is easy, but the forest roads deserve a capable setup.
Radios: GMRS Channel 16. No radio? No problem. We'll keep you in the middle of the convoy so nobody gets left behind.
No cell service on the trail. Download the OnX route for offline use before we leave.
Watch your overhead. There are some low-hanging branches along the way, so plan for it if you're running a tall rack or tent.
Rain or shine. It's November in the Northwest, and we're going.
We'll post the OnX route package here before the ride.
WHAT TO BRING
A full tank, layers and rain gear, water and snacks, and your camera.
See you at the shop. Let's go chase some fall color.
