SALSA (Level 1), 8-9pm
Our Salsa (Level 1) program is a series of beginner-friendly classes designed to prepare participants for social dancing.
Participants gain a foundation by acquiring knowledge & practice in the 18 movements that ground the NJ Salsa Level 1 curriculum.
SOCIAL, 9pm-12am
After our classes, we will offer a Latin mix social with DJ JRS. The Latin mix will consist mostly of Salsa & Bachata, with some Merengue. The social is open to everyone so feel free to invite friends.
We strongly encourage everyone in our Level 1 programs to begin social dancing from the very first class. The application of knowledge, especially when it's fresh in the mind, is essential for progress. A good mindset is to focus on the little that you've learned in class, rather than all that you still have to learn.
