EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Our tour will include the galleries, President Nixon's birthplace and boyhood home, gardens, the White House East Room and the America 250 special exhibit described below:
Celebrate America's 250th birthday at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library's inspiring new special exhibit. Through vivid displays, rare historic artifacts, and engaging interactive experiences, visitors will embark on a journey through the most transformative events in American history.
Witness British colonists revolting during the Boston Tea Party. Experience California's Sutter's Mill at the time of the Gold Rush. Enter Thomas Edison's groundbreaking laboratory. Discover how the World Wars transformed American life and redefined the nation’s role in the world
Be inspired by the courage, innovation, passion, and sacrifice of those who shaped our nation—and join in renewing the "Spirit of ’76" for the next 250 years as we continue the pursuit of a more perfect union.

*🡺NO-SHOWS: If you make a reservation and then do not attend a field trip it means that we still had to pay for your
spot, another family who wanted to come was denied the opportunity to attend and we may be “banned” from future
attendance by the provider.
*🡺A “habitual field trip truant” may lose field trip privileges for their family.
🡺LATE-SHOWS: Many of our field trips are very time sensitive and if you are late, we will make every effort to get you in. In some cases, if you are not there when we pay for the program we may not pay for your reservation which of course could determine if you get in or not. When an event is filled to capacity it can be difficult to get extra tickets. So please, allow plenty of time for traffic when planning your trip time.

There is always a possibility that, due to circumstances beyond our control, an event may be cancelled. If this happens, you will be contacted.

•You can pay for field trips at the EiE resource center, park day or via phone. More info is at the end of this listing.
The Event Listing may be "publicly" viewable; HOWEVER, the event is only for HOMESCHOOL students in the 12th grade and below. Parents/guardians must accompany all minors. Our events are NOT "Drop-off" events. Adults must sign-up with a student. We do not offer an "Adult Only" option for our Events.

By signing up and attending a field trip/event, you UNDERSTAND and AGREE that there is a possibility that you, or a member of group, may have their photo/video taken at the event by others present, AND as such that image may be viewed in public.
