Hagyomány, hogy a Wagner-napok közönsége újra és újra ária- vagy dalesteket is hallhat a nemzetközi Wagner-interpretáció élvonalbeli művészeinek közreműködésével. A svéd drámai szoprán, Nina Stemme korunk egyik legnagyobb Wagner-énekese, ám Glucktól ifj. Johann Straussig, Puccinitól és Richard Strausstól Sosztakovicsig számos más zeneszerző stílusában is otthonos. A Stockholmban élő, öt nyelven beszélő drámai szoprán, a rendkívüli presztízsű Birgit Nilsson-díj birtokosa Fischer Ádámtól Antonio Pappanón át Franz Welser-Möstig a leghíresebb karmesterek produkcióiban aratott elsöprő sikert az operaszínpadokon Bayreuthtól a New York-i Metropolitanig, Salzburgtól a londoni Covent Gardenig. Honfitársa, a zeneszerzőként is aktív zongoraművész, Roland Pöntinen kíséretével Liszt és Wagner dalterméséből ad ízelítőt.//
It is a Wagner Days tradition to each year present an aria concert or song recital by a leading interpreter of the works of Wagner. One of the very greatest Wagnerian singers of our time, Swedish dramatic soprano Nina Stemme is also at home with the styles of many other composers, ranging from Gluck to Johann Strauss II, Puccini, Richard Strauss and Shostakovich. The Stockholm-based dramatic soprano, who speaks five languages and has the extremely prestigious Birgit Nilsson Award to her name, has won tremendous acclaim in productions everywhere from Bayreuth and Salzburg to the Met and Covent Garden, working with top conductors like Ádám Fischer, Antonio Pappano and Franz Welser-Möst. Accompanying her on piano as she dishes up a taste of the musical works of Liszt and Wagner will be her fellow Swede Roland Pöntinen, who is also active as a composer.
