EAST WACO. OCTOBER 24TH. THE WHOLE TOWN IS INVITED.Nightmare on Elm Ave. Saturday, October 24th. 6:30 PM. 715 Elm Ave in East Waco.
This year we're running Elm Avenue from Peach Street down to the East Waco Library. Next year we go all out.
Bring your kids. Bring your grandkids. Bring the dog. Bring your neighbor who never goes anywhere. This one's for everybody.
Here's what's happening. The avenue lit up end to end. Storefronts decked out. Trunk or treat with more candy than any bucket can hold. A live DJ. Food trucks and vendor booths up and down the block. A hay maze.
And a costume contest with real prizes. Best dressed. Best vendor. Best dressed dog. Put your dog in a costume. I'm dead serious.

We need a lot of bales for the hay maze. Donate them or sell them to us at a fair price, either works. Text me at 254-640-3842.
WHO'S ROLLING IN
The car clubs are showing up in force for the trunk or treat:
SUSPECTS CTC
OUTLAWS CC
GONEGHOST CC
CENTRAL TEXAS MEETS
STREET MOTION CC
WAYTRUTHLIFE CC
Plus a crew of bikes, including stunt riders. Every club is putting their name on their car, so come see who's who and say hello.
Walking in is free. Trick or treat is free. Bring some cash for the food trucks and the vendor booths, because those folks are small businesses and they're showing up for us the same way we're showing up for them. Support them while you're there.
Here's the part that matters most to me. This isn't one person's event. The African-American Chamber of Commerce and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce are both in, along with a stack of local businesses and organizations who looked at East Waco and said this place deserves something people drive across the county for.
Waco shows up for the Silo District. Waco shows up for Baylor. This October, Waco shows up for Elm Avenue.
October 24th. 6:30 PM. 715 Elm Ave. Bring everybody you know.
