Night Street Photography Workshop

Discover the city after dark and experience street photography in a whole new light. In this hands-on workshop, we'll explore the streets at night while learning how to photograph urban scenes in low-light conditions.

You'll practise essential camera techniques and experiment with creative effects using the city's lights, reflections, and movement.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have a better understanding of:

• Camera settings for low-light photography (aperture, shutter speed and ISO).
• Using slow shutter speeds to create brighter images and capture light trails.
• Creative composition at night, including reflections, silhouettes, leading lines and framing.
• Using available light from shopfronts, street lamps, car headlights and neon signs.

Perfect for beginners and photographers wanting to build confidence shooting at night.

• Your camera with a fully charged battery.
• Any lens is welcome. If you have one, a wide-angle, standard zoom, or fast prime lens (f/1.8–f/2.8) is ideal for low-light photography.
• SD memory card with plenty of memory
• A tripod (recommended).
• Comfortable walking shoes.
• Weather-appropriate clothing
